Arlington -- Katherine Biediger Beaman, 75, peacefully went to sing with Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, in Colleyville. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, with rosary at 7 p.m., at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Kathy was born in San Antonio and resided in Arlington for over 45 years. She enthusiastically cheered her Texas Rangers from Ted Williams through Jeff Bannister. A founding member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Kathy was a joyful member of the choir and served as cantor. She was a valuable resource throughout her career as an administrative assistant at both First City and Comerica Bank. She made long-term friends and earned the respect of colleagues throughout her tenure until her retirement in 2008. Kathy's proudest accomplishment was raising her four children. She was always willing to serve as sponsor, leader or organizer for all the activities in which they participated. Her love and support allowed them to become who they are today. Her favorite title was "Momo," which was bestowed on her by her first grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leo Biediger and Irma Josephine Mangold Biediger; and brother, Joseph Biediger Jr. Survivors: Daughter, Linda Beaman; sons, Patrick Beaman and wife, Karen, Ted Beaman and wife, Amy; daughter, Sandy Knight and husband, Eric; brothers, Bruce Biediger and wife, Iris, Robert Biediger and wife, Terrie; sister, Marilyn Gruhn and husband, Dave; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Landry Beaman and Ryan Knight.
