ARLINGTON -- Gerald Dwayne Roberson, 66, Marine, husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Arlington. Service: Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 9:15 a.m. Friday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane B. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mayfield Road Baptist Church, 1701 E Mayfield Rd, Arlington with Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating. Gerald was born on September 26, 1947 in Wichita Falls to Ray Calvin Roberson and Marjorie Nell Montgomery Roberson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for two tours in Vietnam. Gerald was a second generation retiree from Six Flags Over Texas. He was an active and proud member of Mayfield Road Baptist Church. Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Linda Roberson; daughter, Angela Hansen and her family; sons, Cody Roberson, Kyle Roberson, Kevin Roberson and their families; mother, Marjorie Roberson; sister, Dottie Haag; ten grandchildren; and numerous family, extended family and friends.
