Abb Duane Gothard

Abb Duane Gothard, age 86, passed away on August 1, 2022.

Duane was born in Frost, TX to George Gothard and Lillie Gothard.

Duane worked as a Project Manager for Ling Temco Vought for 45 years. Retiring in 1999 to enjoy golfing with his wife and spend more time with his family.

Duane married his beautiful bride Ray Dell on June 17, 1955.

Duane was survived by his wife Ray Dell Gothard, his oldest son- Kerry Gothard and wife Carol, his youngest son – Michael Gothard and wife Pam. He was so proud of all three of his grandchildren. Darren Gothard, Heather Gothard, and Brianna Gothard. He never missed a chance to attend their school activities.

Duane was best known for being a tough man but was always fair. His motto was
“whatever you do it should be done to the best of your ability”.

He loved the Lord, his wife – Ray Dell, family and his church. He was hard working, determined, kind hearted, fun loving, and charitable. He faithfully served the Lord and supported his church.

The Memorial service for Duane Gothard will be held on Saturday, August 13th @11AM. Crestiview Missionary Baptist Church – 825 SE Parkway Arlington, TX. 76018.
