He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 2007. Miguel began his funeral service career working for his uncle at Stanmore Funeral Homes in Longview, Marshall, and Gilmer, Texas, where he developed his aptitude and love for serving families. As a proud second-generation Texas funeral director and embalmer, Miguel has diligently served communities across East and Central Texas, bringing solace and support to families navigating through their most challenging times. His extensive experience spans both corporate and family-owned funeral homes, as well as mortuary services, where his meticulous attention to detail and profound understanding of the emotional nuances involved in funeral service have been consistently recognized. Although raised in the Chicago area, Miguel found his true calling in the heart of Texas, seamlessly blending his suburban upbringing with the rich, community-oriented values of the South. Prior to embarking on his journey in the funeral industry, Miguel honed his organizational and people skills in a career as a political organizer, attributes which he has skillfully integrated into providing empathetic, dignified, and seamless funeral services.
