Worth Carlton Jackson

Worth Carlton Jackson, 76, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 11, 2018. A Memorial Service will be on Friday, November 16, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1200 W. Green Oaks Blvd.,Arlington, Tx 76013. Worth was born on September 18, 1942, the oldest son of Worth and Mildred Jackson. He grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. While working with Tandy Leather Co., he relocated his family to Arlington, Texas in 1980. He was a very active volunteer in the community, serving at the Arlington Life Shelter and Nu2U. He loved working as a crossing guard in Mansfield, Texas and was an involved, faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Donations may be made to Arlington Life Shelter, 325 W. Survivors include the love of his life, Mary Ann Jackson; daughters, Carla Jackson and Beth Caldwell; grandchildren, David Barnhart, Brian Barnhart, Amanda Caldwell, Colin Caldwell, and Michael Carlton Caldwell; great-granddaughter, Sonya Barnhart; brother, Alan Jackson; sisters, Nancy Paeplow and Mary Alice Walters and numerous nieces, and nephews.
