William Keith Clements

William “Keith” Clements, age 95, follower of Christ Jesus, husband and father, died at Arlington Memorial Hospital on January 15, 2019, after a short illness. Services: Visitation services for Keith Clements will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington, Saturday, January 19. Funeral Services will be Sunday, January 20, at 2pm in the Chapel at Fielder Church 2011 S. Fielder Road in Arlington with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Interment: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in his name to the Fielder Church widow's fund. Keith was born May 3, 1923, in Ray City, GA to the late James Irwin and Annie Mae Clements. He was a graduate of Ray City High School and immediately following that he joined the United States Army serving with the 66th Infantry ‘Panther' Division during World War II in the European Theater. He was awarded the Victory Medal and Bronze Service Star. After his service he graduated from Georgia Southern University where he played varsity baseball. After college he played minor league baseball. Keith and Joan were married in 1955 and enjoyed life together for 63 years. Mr. Clements worked for 36 years as a Pharmaceutical Manager and Representatives for GlaxoSmithKline. Keith was a Deacon, usher, Sunday school teacher and committee member of Fielder Church in Arlington. Keith's great passion was the study of the bible as he led Bible Study Fellowship for over 13 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, J.I. Clements Jr. and Mason C. Clements. Survivors: Keith is survived by his wife, Joan Clements; daughter, Vicki Hughel and husband, Ray of Arlington, TX; son, W.K. “Tad” Clements, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Mansfield, TX; four grandsons, Austin Head and wife, Kaley, David Clements, Tristan Hughel, and Evan Hughel and wife, Lauren; one granddaughter, Haley Clements; one great-granddaughter, Kinsley Head; one great-grandson, Westin Head; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
