ARLINGTON -- William Harold Reichert, 90, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, in Mansfield.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Rev. Mike Benson officiating. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Harold was born on May 4, 1924, in Old Jenny Lind, Ark., to William Earl Reichert and Marjorie Langley Reichert. He resided in Arlington since 1964 and was a charter member of New Bethel Assembly of God. Harold served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from LTV after 30 years of service as a tool and diemaker. He was a 32nd-degree Mason and a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 60-plus years, Ima Ruth Elliott Reichert, on Aug. 28, 2011; son, Harold Leon Reichert, on Dec. 2, 2012; and brother, Earl Gene Reichert.
Survivors: Son, Don William Reichert and wife, Kathy; daughter, Hannah Davene Cain and husband, Kelley Harrison Cain; brother, Vernon E. Reichert and wife, Angie; sisters, Edith and Helen; grandchildren, Hollie McCullough, Kristi Dover and husband, Greg, Wendy LeSage and husband, Santino, Samantha Cain and Michelle Reichert; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
