ARLINGTON -- William Weldon "Bill" Hall, 80, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Mansfield. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, 210 W. Park Row, Arlington. Interment: 2 p.m. Thursday in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, where Bill was a longtime member. Bill was born September 9, 1936 in Fort Worth to William Calvin Hall and Fannie Pierce Hall. He was raised in Arlington and was a 1955 graduate of Arlington High School. He served in the United States Navy and later went to work for the FAA. Bill was an avid and skilled golfer. Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Carol Hall; daughter, Teresa Sherman and husband, Brad; son, Curtis Hall and wife, Ida; grandchildren, Kathrine Ware, Steven Sherman, Rachel Sherman, Tristan Sherman, and Ian Hall; 3 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Alvin Goerdel; sister-in-law, Barbara Goerdel; Wade Family Funeral Home Arlington, 817-274-9233
