William Clifford “Porky” Hogg Jr, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, in Arlington.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, at St. Alban's Anglican Parish, 911 S. Davis Drive, Arlington.
Porky, the son of W.C. Hogg Sr. and Helon Irene Hogg, was born November 4th, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Growing up in Fort Worth, Porky graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1957 and later Texas Christian University where he received a degree in History and Political Science in 1961. While at TCU, he met the love of his life, Sue Ann Stuter, whom he married following his graduation.
Porky proudly served his country in the Naval Reserves for four years, receiving his honorable discharge in 1964.
Starting his career as a salesman in both Fort Worth and New Orleans, Porky and his wife also started up a successful retail business with locations in Fort Worth and Arlington. Porky had a lifelong passion for education and became a teacher at Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in Fort Worth, Texas, where he taught for 14 years before retiring in 2002.
Porky was a lifelong Christian and an active member of St. Alban's Anglican Church in Arlington, TX.
Porky was preceded in death by his son, Robert Emil Hogg in 2000; mother, Helon Hogg in 1999; and father, William Clifford Hogg Sr. in 1990.
Survivors: Porky is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Hogg; children, William Clifford Hogg III and wife, Sharon of Houston, TX, James Stephen Hogg and wife, Elizabeth of Lewisville, TX; Bowie Joseph Hogg and wife, Leslie of Arlington, TX; and daughter-in-law, Julie Powell Hogg and her fiancé, Jeff Harper of Spring, TX. Porky is also survived by nine grandchildren, Kelly and Daniel Hogg, of Houston, TX, Robert and John Hogg, of Spring, Texas, Ashley, Brady, and Colby Hogg of Lewisville, TX, and Helen and Ellis Hogg of Arlington, TX.
