Wayne Rollo Lowis

ARLINGTON -- Wayne Rollo Lowis, 66, passed away Monday, May 14, 2013, in Arlington. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday in Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Pastor Jim Burgin officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Mission Arlington, 210 W. South St., Arlington, Texas 76010. Wayne was born Oct. 6, 1946 in Bozeman, Mont., to Richmond and Ruth Black Lowis. He was raised in Montana, but had been a longtime Arlington resident. Wayne was a member of Grace Street Fellowship and First Christian Church in Arlington. He was self-employed. Wayne played the baritone in his younger years and enjoyed singing in the church choir. He took great pride in his yard work, enjoyed photography and was very detail-oriented. Wayne loved spending time with his family, especially his only grandson. Survivors: Wife of 22 years, Linda Lowis; son, Rob Lowis; daughters, Kelly Haas and Lisa Evenson; grandson, Mathew Haas; and brother, Ralph Lowis.
