ARLINGTON -- Wayne Alden Linenschmidt, 65, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 3 p.m. Thursday in Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, the Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating. Interment: at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Wayne was born July 27, 1947, in Dallas to Herbert and Virginia Linenschmidt. He retired as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service and then from the U.S. Postal Service after 19 years of service. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Virginia; and brother, David Linenschmidt. Survivors: Beloved wife of 42 years, Wanna Linenschmidt; daughter, Teresa Sandoval and husband, David; son, Brian Linenschmidt and wife, Vickie; sister, Pam Whitson and husband, Edwin; grandchildren, Justine, Joshua and Damian; niece, April Sherlock and husband, Travis; great-nephew, Caleb; and nephew, Aaron Whitson.
