Wandalyn Vaughan Latham

Wandalyn Latham, 74, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023.

Wandalyn was the oldest of eight children and had four daughters. She will be remembered as a talented baker and seamstress. She regularly made baked treats, like her poppyseed cake, that her family and friends enjoyed during the holidays. She made several blankets, costumes, and stuffed toys over the years and she even made masks during the pandemic. There wasn’t anything that Wandalyn couldn’t create or bake.

Wandalyn was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Cedric and two daughters, Tina and Jennifer. She is survived by her siblings Madeleine, Minor, Heather, Amy, Monica, and Lilah; two daughters, Vickie Pitt and her husband David Pitt of Arlington, Dorothy Loveridge and her husband Rob Loveridge of South Jordan, UT; grandchildren Kenneth Jr, Katherine and her husband Daniel, Dakota, Josh, Kati and her husband Dawson, Dylan, Jared, Colby, Jacob, Lyric, Hendrix; one great-grandson, Aiden, several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A memorial service will be held March 28th, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Soroptimist International, 121 SW Dallas St. Grand Prairie, TX 75051.
