Wanda Joyce Teer

DALLAS -- Wanda Joyce (Dendy) Teer, 68, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 with her husband by her side. Memorial Service: will follow Wanda's cremation on Sat. April 19 at 11am at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. An open house will follow from 1-5 at the Schneider home in Southlake, TX. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the American Heart Association. Wanda was born to the late Odie & Alma (Townsend) Dendy January 6,1946 in Minden, LA. She had received her diploma from Springhill High School. Wanda will be remembered for her big heart, love of her family and generosity to others. She loved spending time with family and traveling. Loving memories will continue here on earth as we pray that you rest in peace in heaven. Wanda was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Billy Gene Walker of Springhill; her parents, Odie and Alma Dendy of Cullen; her sister, Darlene Daniel of Livingston, AL; and her step-grandchild, Lauren Aldous of TX. Survivors: Wanda is survived by her current husband, James N. Teer; her son, Brent Walker of Magnolia, AR; her daughter, Pamela (Walker) Schneider of Southlake, TX; her sister, Jackie Ruth Chambless of Livingston, AL; her grandchildren, Billy, Blake & Kayla Walker of Springhill, LA; Samantha, Alexandra, & McKenzie Schneider of Southlake, TX; her step-children, Teresa and Patty Teer and Kelly Eddleman, all of TX; and her step-grandchild, Dustin Aldous.
