Wally Oscar Forson

ARLINGTON -- Wally O. Forson, 86, passed from this life quietly on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Inurnment: At a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Wally was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Amarillo. He retired from Lockheed after a 39-year career. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran. Wally enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Arlington Senior Men's Golf Association. He enjoyed being a part of his children's, grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's lives. Survivors: His wife of 61 years, Wanda Forson; daughter, Glenna Hart and husband, Tom; son, Darrell Forson and wife, Susan; son, Allan Forson and wife, Sandra; son, Duane Forson; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Emilie, Jacob, Ginger, Mandy and Josh; and nine great-grandchildren.
