W.C. Miller

W.C. Miller, 92, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Arlington, Texas.

Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, at Mount Zion Cemetery, Burnet County.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

W.C. was born on December 18, 1929 in San Saba, Texas to Benjamin Warren Miller and Katie Ionie Garrett Miller. He married Mary Bob Newlin on March 18, 1950. W.C. was a Deacon at New York Avenue Church of Christ.

He and Bob would reminiscence about all of the wonderful events that happened in their life. They loved to travel and camp out. They had fond memories of trips to North Carolina, Ruidoso, New Mexico, and cruises to the Caribbean just to name a few. They counted their blessings!

W.C. enjoyed watching westerns and John Wayne movies. He loved drinking Dr. Pepper and eating M&M’s and Oreo cookies. He enjoyed making homemade pill boxes out of bottle caps. He loved all animals, especially dogs and horses.

W.C. dearly loved his grandkids. He was proud of all of his family and loved everyone so very much! He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Jonathan Janis.

Survivors: Wife of 72 years, Mary Bob Miller; son, George Miller and wife, Laura; daughter, Brenda Miller; grandchildren, Rebecca Janis and husband, Stephen, and Benjamin Miller and wife, Tracey; and 6 great-grandchildren.
