ARLINGTON -- Vincent Paul Vacca, 86, returned to his heavenly home on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016. His devotion to his family, his grandchildren and his strong belief in God supported him in his health struggles and ultimately gave him peace.
Service: A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with a rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis, Arlington, followed by a lunch reception at the church. Father Luke Robertson will officiate. Vince will be buried privately in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Vince was born to the late John and Caroline Vacca (Bain), on January 30, 1929.
Vince was known professionally as "Vince Paul " during his career as a radio personality/disc jockey in MN, CO and TX.
He is preceded in death by his former wife, Connie Vacca Manke; his sister, Catherine Reithmaier; his brothers, John II and Richard; and his parents.
Survivors: Vince is survived by his daughter, Amy Romans (Chris); his son, Tony Vacca (Vilma); his grandchildren Jason and Brittany Romans, Catherine Roka, Michael, Matthew, Annabel, Elizabeth, Paul and David Vacca. His great-grandchildren, Noella and Eli Romans and Isabella Roka.
