Vernon L. Hodo

ARLINGTON -- Vernon L. Hodo Jr., 87, of Arlington went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fielder Road Baptist Church, 2011 South Fielder Road, Arlington. A private graveside service to follow. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Survivors: His loving wife of 50 years, Delores Hodo; son, Roy Hodo and his wife, Janelda; daughters, Mary Hodo, Virginia Ruth Hodo, Margie Hutt and her husband, Mike, Shirley Beaty, Sherry Siler and her husband, Mark, and Temple Jones and her husband, Milton; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other nieces/nephews and family members.
