Troyce Glenn Wyatt, 88, graduated peacefully in his sleep to his eternal rest on October 24, 2021, in Arlington, Texas. Troyce Wyatt was born on December 28, 1932 in Erick, OK, to Reverend Mabry Bryan Wyatt and Minnie Rebecca Nettie (Dick) (Wyatt) Warren. His early years were spent in Hammon, OK. Troyce graduated from Elk City High School in May, 1951. He started his career as a Navy Seaman on his enlistment into the U.S. Navy in May, 1951, serving four years with initial duties on a Mine Sweeper ship in the Sea of Japan during the Korean War. Troyce then enlisted in the U. S. Air Force, serving his country for another sixteen years in Texas, Oklahoma and England. Initial USAF MOS was a jet engine mechanic. Served as the Gun Range Master for several years at Bergstrom AFB in Austin, TX. Retired from his combined military service in February, 1972. Troyce worked with the Travis County Sheriff's Department. His last workplace was the University of Texas in Austin, serving as a Security Guard at the LBJ Library and at UT football games. Troyce retired from UT Austin as well. In the later seasons of his life, Troyce returned to his roots of faith and prayer. Troyce married Luginia (Jean) A. Pagel on July 31, 1981. Troyce was best known for drag racing driving skills (AA/Fuel rail dragsters and stock cars) at various tracks in Oklahoma and Texas, his love of dogs and his humor. He also had talents of playing the piano, singing and was a watercolor and oil paintings artist and enjoyed dancing. Troyce is survived by his wife, Jean Wyatt of Austin, TX; a granddaughter; nephew Robert "Bobby" W. Stout and his wife Carolyn of Arlington, TX; nephew Joe B Stout and his wife Fiona "Fee" of Tarpon Springs, FL; as well as great nieces Alicia (Stout) Moyer and Sonya (Stout) Locke; great nephews Brandt Stout and Colin and great-great nieces Whitley Shanahan, Hunter Moyer, and great-great nephew Dakota Moyer; one great-great-great nephew Jayden Blanchard; and step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.. Troyce is preceded in death by his parents - Mabry Wyatt (1963) and Nettie (Wyatt) Warren (2003); his older brother - Galen "Tiny" Wyatt (1969) and Galen's wife Gladys; and his older sister Lorraine (Wyatt) Stout (2017) and Lorraine's husband Seth "Buck" Stout (2003) and his son, Royce "Roy" Wyatt. The graveside service for Troyce Glenn Wyatt will be held on Tuesday, November 9,2021 at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX
