Travis Wayne Conklin ARLINGTON -- Travis Wayne Conklin, 43, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, in Arlington. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at The Oaks Baptist Church, 801 E. I-20, Grand Prairie, with Dr. Heath Marion officiating. Interment: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Restlawn Memorial Park, El Paso, with his son, Justin Conklin, officiating. Memorials: May be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or the SPCA, www.spca.org. Travis was born May 5, 1971, in El Paso to Lloyd Wayne Conklin and Audrey Swier Conklin. He graduated from Clint High School in Clint. He worked for AT&T for 16 years. Travis loved his animals, liked to fish and raise fish, and enjoyed hunting with his boys and coaching his sons in baseball.
