Timothy "Tim" Wade Goodman

Timothy Wade Goodman, age 58 of Arlington, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at a Dallas hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Arlington First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Clint Benn officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Cemetery, Temple, Texas at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Wade Funeral Home. Tim was born on January 15, 1958 in Cleburne, Texas to the late Travis Lester Goodman and Robbie Russell. He graduated from Cleburne High School in 1976. He married Susan Smith in 1978. Tim worked as a brick mason for several years, then worked in auto body & mechanics for several years, and later worked for Fikes' Sanitation for 13 years as a supervisor before he became disabled. Tim was a master of many trades. Tim was a member of the Arlington First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his wife, Susan Goodman of Arlington. His mother Robbie Russell and husband Robert Russell of Burleson. His brother, Robert Goodman of Wichita Falls; a sister, Linda Slay and husband, Wayne of Waxahachie, a great aunt, Rubye Wooten, and an aunt, Patricia Goodman Gibbins of Itasca. A mother & father-in-law, Jack and Jessie Smith of Temple; brother-in-law, Ronald Smith and wife, Joy of Belton, Texas; and brother-in-law, David Smith and wife, Laura of Dallas. Eight nieces and nephews and other family members.
