Tiana Shea Stayton

Tiana (McHaney) Stayton, 59, passed away on Saturday February 3, 2024 in Arlington, TX.

The memorial for Tiana will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 11 am in the Chapel at Fielder Church, 2011 S Fielder Rd. Arlington, TX 76013. The family recommends using In Bloom, Cannon, or Country Florist on Arkansas Lane for flowers for the service, as these florists work directly with the church.

Tiana was born January 7, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas to Joe Pat and Marquita (Madole) McHaney.

Tiana graduated from Arlington High school in 1983 and continued on to attend the University of Texas at Arlington and Ogle Hair School, where she graduated in 1985. Tiana and Mike were married 3 years later on May 21, 1988. Tiana began working as a hairstylist in 1985 until her daughters were born, when she chose to stay home with them. Many years later, she went back to work at Shelton’s Salon and Day Spa where she was a receptionist. When the salon decided to shut its doors in 2020, Tiana went on to pursue a career in Real Estate. She obtained her real estate license in 2021 and started working for Circle 4 Properties in Granbury, TX as a Realtor.

Tiana was most known for her quirky personality, her love of sweets, and how much she loved her family. She was most proud to be a wife, mother and a “TT”. Tiana loved gardening, catching and releasing butterflies and watching True Crime documentaries. Tiana was very creative and had a knack for crocheting and knitting, soap making, interior design and fashion.

Tiana is preceded in death by her father, Joe Pat McHaney.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years Mike Stayton; daughters Cydney Cormier and husband Kyle Cormier, Logan Stayton and Fiancé Ty Cole; granddaughters Tait and Brynley Cormier; mother Marquita (Madole) McHaney; brother Joe Mark McHaney and wife Carolyn; sister Shanna Jones and husband James; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
