Thomas Wayne “Tommy” Jobe, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Mansfield.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, at Dawson Cemetery, Dawson. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 23, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Tommy was born on November 19, 1939 in Bynum, Texas to James Presley Jobe and Lottie Oliver Jobe. A 46 year resident of Ovilla since 1972, he was a member of the Cowboy Church in Ellis County. Tommy retired as a commercial carpenter. He was a 50-year Mason in Lodge #155 in Dawson.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leroy Deese and James Jobe; and sister, Geneva Lowe.
Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Donna Pitts Jobe; son, Joel Wayne Jobe; brother, Doyle Deese; grandchildren, Jennifer Jobe and Jessica Jobe; nephews, John Lowe, Dwight Lowe, Rick Deese, Dewayne Deese, Michael Deese and Wayne Jobe; and nieces, Brenda Deese Crump and Lisa Jobe Combs.
