Thomas Edwin Wilson

Thomas “Tom” Edwin Wilson, 94, passed away February 5, 2021 in Carrollton,Texas. Memorial Mass: March 4, 2021 at 10:00am, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Service will be streamed and can be accessed via Church website under worship services. Burial: Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date. Tom was born November 7, 1926 in Fairfield, Illinois to Benjamin and Flo Wilson. After high school, Tom served in the Marine Corps from October 1944 to August 1946. He graduated with a Masters in Science degree from George Washington University in 1953. Tom married June Helen Comis in 1957 and resided in Chicago until retiring in 1987 from Southern Pacific Railroad where he held various executive positions. Tom and June then moved to Arlington, Texas. Tom especially loved to read. His favorites were history and biographies of past Presidents. Tom was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, June Wilson, parents, brothers, Samuel Benjamin Wilson; sisters, Frances Beck and Mary Ellen Karel; brothers-in-law, Theodore Buck, William Beck and Bill Comis; and sister-in-law's, Vivian “Mickey” Comis and Wilma Wilson. Survivors: Sister, Lucinda Mae Buck; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
