Thomas Darrel Mott

Thomas Darrel Mott (Tom) passed away Wednesday July 3, 2024.

Tom was born September 24, 1943, in Ft. Worth. He grew up in Haltom City. In 1967 he joined the Army where he flew Cobra Helicopters, was a tank unit commander, and training center unit officer. After military life he continued in Aviation. His passions included photography and cooking.

He was a firm believer in the institution of marriage. He married the love of his life Patricia on June 10, 1982. She was his loving wife for 31 years until she passed away July 22, 2013.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Emmie Frances Mott; father, Gershom Scudder Mott; and niece, Julie Nicole Mott.

He is survived by daughters, Karen McElroy, Kim Wick; son, Michael Roark; grandchildren. Erin, Nick, Austin, Brady, Jack, Ella, Ethan, and Logan; brother, Tim Mott; and nephew, Johnathon.
