Terry Cooper Powell

ARLINGTON -- Terry Cooper Powell, 65, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1200 W. Green Oaks Blvd. Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Arlington Urban Ministries. Terry was born on June 18, 1950 in Cisco to Kenneth B. Cooper and Louise Atcheson Cooper. An Arlington resident since 1989, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Terry was a pre-school and elementary school teacher and taught in the Dallas and Arlington ISD, and worked at River Legacy from 2000-2012. Survivors: Husband, Donald Powell; son, Adam C. Powell and wife, Komal; daughter, Diane Powell; sister, Donna C. Jean and husband, Steve; and grandson, Roshan Powell.
