Mr Ted Vincent Hammond

Mr. Ted Vincent Hammond “Vince” was born June 13,1964 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Ted Hammond & Mary C. Hammond. He departed this earth and joined Our Father on June 22,2024.

Vince was educated at the public schools of Columbia, SC. After high school, Vince attended Benedict College, served in the Army, and graduated from Devry College earning a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering Technology. With a fulfilling career in IT, he later found his community as a dedicated employee with John Peter Smith Hospital for 15 years. While working throughout life, he found his passion in computer technology and videography.

With his strength, resilience and unwavering spirit he remains a positive beacon of hope and an inspiration to all that knew him. He is preceded in death by his Father, Ted Hammond and Mother Mary C. Hammond.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife Leticia Hammond, his sister Ava (John) Weeks, His children: Chris (Zuany) Hammond, Chasity Johnson, Caleb Hammond, Deziree Johnson, Brandon Hammond, Ebonie Johnson, Rontaysia Johnson, Grandchildren: Luka & Zoey, a host of nieces and nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends whom will miss him dearly.

May Vince rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and my he be remembered for the love, wisdom and laughter he brought into the lives of others.
