Tage Aaberg Mathisen

Tage Aaberg Mathisen, 48, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2020 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Monday, November 16, at Open Door Church, Burleson, Texas with Pastor Jerry Sellers officiating. Tage will be laid to rest at Heaven's Gate Cemetery in Poolville, Texas immediately following the service. Tage was born January 21, 1972 in Sandefjord Norway to Trond Mathisen and Solfrid Aaberg Mathisen. He was a son, brother, husband, father, Pappsen to his grandchildren, and friend to many. Tage was a man with such a humble spirit and loving soul, a man passionate about God, life and people. He will be missed by many. Tage was preceded in death by his mother, Solfrid Mathisen. Survivors: Wife of 10 years, Dana Knight Mathisen; father, Trond Mathisen; sons, Noah Mathisen and Aron Mathisen; stepson, Daniel Beshiri (Codie); stepdaughters, Amanda Welch and Kristen Hastings; brother, Mads Mathisen (Linn); grandchildren, Eaden Wetzel, Aaliyah Beshiri and Noah Keitt.
