ARLINGTON -- Susan Lee Rives, 64, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in Arlington. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Susie was born Jan. 13, 1950, in Lubbock to Bedford and Patti Hicks Raley. She was raised in Odessa and was a graduate of Permian High School. She had been an Arlington resident for 40 years. Her life was her family. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Raley; and granddaughter, Jacy Lee Rives. Survivors: Husband, Jim Rives; son, Todd Rives and wife, Lisa; daughter, Laura Stateler and husband, Josh; grandchildren, Dale, Raley, Abby, Nathan, Lincoln, Chazzy, Emilie and Cadence; and her mother-in-law, Corene Rives.
