PANTEGO-Sue Womack, 80, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Fort Worth under hospice care.
Services: Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29th, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30th, at the funeral home. There will be a private burial at a later date.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas or Arlington Life Shelter.
Sue was born in Dallas on February 21, 1937 to Collis Fred and Marguerite Sellman. Her early grade school years were spent in Handley, Texas. The family then relocated to Bridgeport, Texas, where Sue completed her schooling, graduating from Bridgeport High School in 1955. She attended North Texas State College. She and Gilbert Womack were married in Bridgeport on August 15, 1959, and had lived in Arlington/Pantego since 1962. Sue was a secretary at Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie and retired in May, 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her brothers, Collis D. and John Sellman.
Survivors: Husband, Gilbert “Gil” Womack; daughters, Karen Clements, Sharon Duren and husband, Lance; sister, Nancy Dugan and husband, Jim; brother, Bob Sellman and wife, Linda; sister-in-law, Pam Sellman; grandchildren, Katrina Clements, Brooke Duren, and Trent and Trevor Wilson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
