Stephen M. Hegner of Arlington, Texas passed away on July 11, 2022.
He was born on November 23, 1955 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania.
Stephen moved to Texas when he was 16 years old. He graduated from Sam Houston High School then served in the Navy from 1974 to 1979. He worked with the Big Guns and missels on the ship. He worked for the Lighthouse of the Blind. He liked to go to the shooting range. His passion was fishing of any kind. He had his canoe on top of his truck. He would fish big lakes to ponds, and of course the ocean. You could also find Steve at the trade days, a pawn shop, or a bookstore.
You could never call him late for dinner because he was always there in time. I’ll be fishing in Heaven till we meet again.
Survivors: Sisters, Kathleen Dunn, Joann Anderson; brother, William “Bill” Hegner; niece, Elizabeth Adams; nephews, Robert Dunn Jr., Walter Dunn, James Dunn, Carl Dunn and many more great nieces and nephews and cousins.
