Simone Rene Smith

Simone Rene Smith, 54, of Arlington TX, went to be with The LORD Saturday November 2, 2019. Simone was the 4th daughter of Wenneth and Carol Kimsey, and was born February 18 1965 in South Bend, Indiana. September 16, 1988 she married the love of her life, Christopher “Chris” Smith. The love the two of them shared was truly beautiful. Chris will always be her honeybun. During their years of marriage they raised 2 sons, Christopher and Michael, together. Simone was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Through her own medical problems she was always more concerned about everyone else. She always had a “hey” to give, a prayer to say for you and a shoulder to lean on. She will be deeply missed. Simone was Proceeded in death by her Parents, Wenneth and Carol Kimsey, her Sister Tracy Williams, and her Mother in Law, Jean Smith. Survivors: Husband of 31 years, Christopher “Chris” Smith, sons and their wives Christopher and Kristin Kimsey and Michael and Gina Smith, Grandchildren Brayden, Kaylee, Adeline and Brailynn. Sisters and their spouses Tana & RC Wetzel, Linda & Scott Cantrell, and Leslie Batchelor. Father in law, David Smith, Brother and Sister in laws, Mike and Mel Smith, Sherri and Chris Wade, Barbara and Eddie Johnston, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at Wade Funeral Home. 4140 W Pioneer Pkwy. Arlington, TX 76013. Celebration of life will be held at The Oaks Baptist Church 801I-20 Grand Prairie, TX 75052 Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00, with a burial following at DFW National Cemetery.
