ARLINGTON – Sidney Arthur Gillen, 76 was reunited with his son Lonnie and many other family members on Thursday, October 8, 2015. He was a hardworking, loving husband, caring father, awesome brother, amazing Grampa, and the kindest friend. Memorial Service : Trinity United Methodist Church, 1200 W Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, Texas 76013, on Monday October 12, 2015 at 4 PM. Preceded in Death: His son, Lonnie Gillen; father and mother, Jack (John) and Mildred Gillen; sister, Mildred Randazzo; brothers, Edwin Gillen and Nelson Gillen, and niece, Hannah Congdon. Survivors: Wife, Barbara Gillen; Mother in law (Mom), Carolyn Congdon, Son, Ed Gillen and wife Carrie; Daughter, Bobbi Jo Ryburn and husband Michael; Brothers, Fred Gillen and Richard Gillen and Sisters, Bernadine Lawrence and Elizabeth Stewart; Grandchildren, Christopher Gillen and wife Nicole, Terry Gillen, Brittany Gillen, Parker, Taylor, and Cameron Gillen, Colton Ryburn and Great grandchildren, Riley Gillen and soon to be namesake Ryan Arthur Gillen. He was a man who brought smiles, laughter and joy to all those around him. He was a selfless man who always put others first.
