Shirley Von Rutledge

GRAND PRAIRIE -- Shirley Von Rutledge, 78, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Arlington. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Grand Prairie Memorial Park, Grand Prairie. Visitation: The family will receive friends 9 to 11 a.m. Monday. Shirley was born Sept. 5, 1934, in Drumright, Okla., to Elsie and Johnny Cunnigham. She had resided in Grand Prairie since 1969 and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a secretary for Mid-Continental Exploration. Shirley enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting and needlepoint. Survivors: Children, Roxi Ann Lorance and husband, Marvin, Bill R.
