Shirley Gloria Cudmore

Shirley Gloria Cudmore passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023 at the age of 86.
She was born in Salem, MA, on December 9, 1936, to parents Arthur H. Tetrault and Catherine Dubiel.

Shirley was a remarkable woman who lived a full and meaningful life. She grew up in Salem and attended Saltonstall School, followed by Salem Commercial School and then Salem High School, graduating in 1954.

In 1955, Shirley married the love of her life, Joseph R. Cudmore Sr. Together, they embarked on a life journey of raising their five wonderful boys. Shirley’s compassionate nature and unwavering love for her family and friends were always evident. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting, leaving behind cherished creations that will be treasured by many.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Cudmore, Jr., Thomas Cudmore and his wife Pam, Michael Cudmore and his wife Jan, David Cudmore and Donald Cudmore and his wife Lisa; brother Arthur Tetrault Jr. and his wife Carol; sister Dorothy Gagnon and her husband Bert; sister Carol Spinelli; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley’s memory will forever be held in their hearts!

A committal service to honor Shirley’s life will be held at 10:15am on November 13, 2023, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects and offer their condolences at this time.
