Shelly Dawn Smith Shirley Caram, 45, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Arlington. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, at Pantego Christian Academy, 2201 W. Park Row Drive, Arlington. Interment: Hawkins Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to your local homeless shelter. Shelly was born on June 20, 1973 in Garland, Texas to Mike Smith and Cheryl Smallwood Smith. She was raised in Garland and Mesquite and resided in Arlington the past 20 years. She worked as an insurance adjustor. Shelly served God by serving others. She worked tirelessly helping the homeless and providing a home for not only her family, but also others in need. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Smith in 1991. Survivors: Husband, Tommy L. Caram; sons, Michael Dale Shirley and Garon Dakota-James Shirley; daughter, Payton Elizabeth Shirley; mother, Cheryl Downing and husband, Andy; father, Michael Smith and wife, Kim; sisters, Leslie Kay Caram and Brandy D'Ann Steger and husband, George; grandchildren, Nathan, Lilly and Jackson; nieces, Chelsey, Kayla, Chloe and Bella; nephews, Blake, Jagger and Mason; and her bonus children, Tae and Zae McDonald, Jonas Santiago, Noah Shack, Maddie Foster; and many others she loved dearly.
