Shawn Joseph Figley

Shawn Joseph Figley, 51, passed away June 13, 2020. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Shawn was born July 6, 1968 in Franklin County, Ohio to Jackie Joe Figley and Michael Ann Burns. He has lived in Grand Prairie since 1997. Shawn was a diesel mechanic, built race cars and loved NASCAR. He also enjoyed reading and being outdoors. Shawn was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife of 17 years, Janet Renay Figley; sons, Lance Hefner and wife, Melody and Zachary Robison; daughters, Jamie English and husband, Shaun, Brittany Leigh and Heather Figley; brothers, Shane O'Byrne and wife, Tina, Kraig Shell and wife, Jennifer and Markus Hernandez and wife, Areli; sister, Amy Smith; grandchildren, Harper and Lilly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
