Shawn Alan Scarborough

Shawn Alan Scarborough, 50, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 in Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 19, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, at the funeral home. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Shawn was born on July 17, 1967 in Fort Worth to James Weslie Scarborough and Sandra Lee Record Scarborough. A 1985 graduate of Martin High School, he attended Florida College. Shawn worked for Airscript. He was a member of Northwest Church of Christ where he loved to lead singing during worship. His greatest love was his children. Shawn was preceded in death by his baby brother, Shannon; paternal grandparents, Julius and Loyce Scarborough; and maternal grandparents, W.P. and Bertie Record. Survivors: Parents, Wes and Sandra Scarborough; daughters, Emma Scarborough and Eryn Scarborough; sister, Holly Green and husband, Terry; and numerous other family members and friends.
