Selvin Brian Rego, 59, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 in Arlington, Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 2100 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
Interment follow the service on Saturday, July 29th at Moore Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
Visitation will be at Wade Family Funeral Home on Friday, July 28, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, at 4140 West Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013.
Selvin was born on February 12, 1958 in India to Frederick and Santana Rego.
He received his Bachelor's Degree from the National Institute of Technology in Surathkal and graduated with his Masters from Oklahoma State University. He worked as an engineer in both the auto and aerospace industries, last working for Solidiform.
Selvin loved watching the Texas Cowboys football games, TV shows, and the news. He always enjoyed a good family meal cooked by his beloved wife and seeing the milestones his children reached. He loved carrot cake, pecan turtles, and any other type of dessert – but most of all, he loved spending time at home with his family.
He has been a resident of Arlington since 1988 and was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Arlington.
Selvin was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Santana Rego.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma Caroline Rego; daughter, Dr. Lauren Rego-Cherian and husband, Dr. Daniel Cherian; and daughters, Leann and Andrea Rego. He is also survived by his two sisters, Dola and Neela, and his three brothers, Melwin, Gavin, and Glen. He also leaves behind his dear friends, his precious cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces.
