Scott Matthew Sullivan, a loving husband, sports enthusiast, and a friend to everyone he met, passed away on October 4, 2023, in Plano, Texas at the age of 50. Born on August 23, 1973, in Phoenix, Arizona, to William Joseph Sullivan and Paulette Jean Mikula Sullivan, Scott brought joy and laughter to the lives of those around him.
Scott was an avid sports fan, particularly cheering on his beloved Texas Longhorns. From his college days playing baseball at Northlake to his years of playing various sports, Scott remained active throughout his life. He graduated from Mansfield High School and was always a pillar of strength and determination.
Driven and hard-working, Scott owned and operated Sullivan’s Landscaping Inc., where his creative mind shone through in every project. He forged strong relationships with his clients, truly understanding the importance of building lifelong connections. Scott’s generosity and kindness knew no bounds, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Outside of work, Scott cherished spending time with his loyal companion and buddy, his dog Beau. He loved being out on the boat at the lake, embracing his passion for sports cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, enjoyed playing golf and hunting with friends. Scott’s larger-than-life personality would light up a room, and his quick wit and one-liners kept everyone entertained.
Above all else, Scott was a devoted husband to his wife, Courtney Lynn Sullivan. His stepsons, Luke Griggs and Zane Griggs, held a very special place in his heart, and he cherished his role as a stepfather. Scott’s sister, Michelle Higgins, her husband Scott, and Scott’s niece Addison Higgins and nephew Landon Higgins, will forever miss his presence.
