ARLINGTON -- Scott D. Kneedler, 41, passed away Monday, April 24, 2012, after a courageous battle with PPND.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Dr. Ed Laymance officiating. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home.
Scott was born Aug. 31, 1970, in Findlay, Ohio, to Douglas George Kneedler and Dorthy Shanklin Kneedler. He graduated from James Martin High School in Arlington in 1989 and later from Spartan School of Aeronautics. He worked as an mechanic for American Airlines at Tulsa and Alliance bases. He was diagnosed with PPND at Mayo clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
He loved car's from an early age. He raced his 1967 Mustang at Kennedale's one-eighth mile track. Most of all he loved his family, with a special love for his daughter, Abby.
Scott was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors: Daughter, Abigail Kneedler; parents, Dorthy and Bob Reynolds; sister, Sherri Butler; and niece, Ashley Crockett.
