Sarah "Lorena" Middleton

Sarah Lorena Middleton, 95, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Dalworthington Gardens. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington with a reception to follow. Interment: 1:30 p.m., Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, at the funeral home. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org, 800-272-3900. Lorena was born on August 19, 1923 in Rapides Parish, LA to Mitchell Watkins and Hettie Martin Watkins. She worked as a buyer for Northwestern State University. Lorena was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Arlington. She was a lifelong member of Eastern Star and member of the Women's Club in Grand Prairie. Lorena loved being around people, was a social butterfly and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her son, Joe Byles. Survivors: Daughter, Theresa Hailey and husband, Trace; grandchildren, Chad Hailey, Nicole Hailey Cardenas, Jonathan Hailey and Eric Hailey; and 6 great-grandchildren.
