Sandra Sue Stone

Sandra Sue Stone, 78, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in Burleson, Texas.

Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.

Sandra was born on August 28, 1944 in Pasadena, Texas to Granville Dick Steed and Dorothy Terry Steed. She graduated from Graham High School and attended Texas Women’s University in Denton. She resided in Arlington and Mansfield, prior to moving to Burleson.

Sandra enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She loved playing the slots and betting on her horses. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with family and friends. Sandra loved shopping and buying purses. She enjoyed listening to all genres of music. Her favorite color was green.

Sandra dearly loved her family, children and grandchildren. She was very affectionate and very supportive. Sandra was very outgoing and loved to talk to everyone she met; she never met a stranger. She was very organized and loved to host events for friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Granville Dick Steed; and brother, Terry Wayne.

Survivors: Husband of 51 years, Elton Carl Stone; children, Angela Knight and husband, Jason, Brent Stone, Evan Stone, and Carla Gray and husband, Terry; and grandchildren, Chase, Ethan, Landyn, Christian, Brandon, Kayla, Matthew, Lydia and Jordan.
