Sandra Sue Argentini of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2021, at the age of 75. She was born on March 24, 1946 in Tyler, Texas, to Ed and Mary Hicks. She spent most of her childhood in Amarillo, Texas. She attended Tascosa High School and Amarillo College and graduated from West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas. She later attended graduate school at University of North Texas where she received a degree in Library Science.
Sandra married Dane Paul Argentini on June 12, 1971, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Sandra and Dane were passionate travelers and traveled throughout the United States, Central & South America, and Europe. Sandra enjoyed making jewelry, reading, cooking, and shopping for shoes. She studied voice and piano and had a great interest in the arts and symphony.
Sandra taught for 35 years and was an avid student – teacher advocate. She served as an officer of the Arlington Teacher's Association. Sandra was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday School.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by husband Dane, brother Bill Hicks and wife Rosemary, stepson Michael Argentini, niece Jennifer Hicks, nephew Jason Hicks- Page, sister-in-law Denise Stuart, and extended family.
