Sandra Joyce Russell

Sandra Joyce Russell of Arlington, Texas, who was a mother, daughter, Nana, sister, and friend to many, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Sandra was born January 23, 1945 in Hillsboro, Texas. She was the daughter of Wendell and Doris Lewis. She spent her childhood growing up in Fort Worth and then moved to Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School, Class of 1963. She dedicated her life to her children, Deon Russell and Shannon Russell and her grandson, Preston Flurkey. She married the love of her life, Ron Russell on November 21, 1970. Known as a Godly woman, Sandra lived her life active in the ministry of our Lord Jesus. She attended and was involved in ministry at Gateway Church. She was the head apostolic intercessor with White Horse Ministries and was also involved with Sam Dewald Ministries. Her favorite activities involved anything that included her family, especially her grandson, Preston, whom she loved with all her heart. She cherished her many friends who loved and respected her so much. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Wendell Lewis and her husband, Ronald Russell. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Deon Russell; son, Shannon Russell and wife, Jennifer; grandson, Preston Flurkey; Mother, Doris Lewis; sisters, Linda Furgerson, Kathy Emerson and husband, Scott; as well as countless loved and loyal friends.
