Sabah Elias "Sam" Bahar

ARLINGTON -- Sabah Elias "Sam" Bahar, 69, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in Arlington. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Sam was born on November 8, 1945 in Baghdad, Iraq to Elias Bahar and Rozy Toma Bahar. He was an Arlington resident for the past 30 years, residing in Dallas prior to that. Sam retired as an accountant with Tandy Corporation in Fort Worth. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Arlington. Sam collected stamps and enjoyed photographing his daughter, nephews and nieces. Survivors: Daughter, Susana Roze Bahar; former wife of 7 years, Jana Collins; brothers, Ayad Bahar and Adnan Bahar; sister, Niran Kuster; nieces and nephews, Elias Bahar, Elena Thaxton, Robert Kuster, Jenan Bahar, Jehan Bahar, Marwan Bahar, Yasir Bahar and Yusra Bahar.
