ARLINGTON -- Russell Reno August Lytle, 23, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, in Anchorage, Alaska.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday, April 6, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3321 W. Park Row Drive, Arlington. Interment: 3 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Reno was born Aug. 1, 1988, in Arlington, to Russell L. Lytle and Kim Schellhammer Lytle. He graduated from Kennedale High School in 2006. Reno served in the Air Force since 2007 as an assistant dictated crew chief on the F-22 Raptor (Squadron 525 "Bulldogs") and was an airman with the 3rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. He was a competitive wakeboarder, and enjoyed hunting, video games and working on cars.
Reno was a devoted family man who loved his family and friends, lived every day to the fullest, making an impact and changing the lives of so many. He had an infectious smile and carried it everywhere he went.
Survivors: Wife, Brandie Lytle; children, Destiny Rain Lytle and Hunter James Lytle; parents, Russell and Kim Lytle; brother, Chad Lytle and wife, Christina; niece and nephew, Ashlyn Lytle and Jayden Lytle; sister, Kassidy Janicki and husband, Nick; niece, Penelope Janicki; and a host of family and friends.
