Roy Michael Pack

Michael Pack, 69, of Arlington, TX, passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2022 at home. He was the son of the late Albert W. Pack Sr and Martha Bercheen Pack of Winchester, TN. Michael is preceded in death by his wife Linda Harrison. Michael is also preceded in death by his beloved sister, Patricia Ann Pack Johnson and her husband Frank and also by his big brother Albert W Pack Jr and his wife Mary Reynolds Pack.

Michael was a lover of music and could play both the piano and organ beautifully and flawlessly prior to a stroke in 2020. He was a proud member of The American Organist Guild in Nashville where he lived for most of his life before moving to Granbury, Texas to live with his brother. He then changed his membership to Fort Worth, Texas once he moved in with his niece in Arlington. For many years Michael was an avid member and the treasurer for the Gamma Mu Foundation out of Florida until he had to retire in 2020 due to his health.

Michael was always the life of the party and he always had a story or a joke to tell. He will definitely be missed by many friends new and old. He never met a stranger. His nieces and great-nephew Patrick are going to miss him greatly as they were all so close to him.

Michael is survived by his niece Michelle Johnson Rowe of Winchester, TN and her 2 children Logan Glass and Alexandra Rowe. Michael’s great-nephew Patrick Glass, Andrew, Jimmy, Aiden and Cassie Glass. Michael is also survived by his other niece Shari Pack McFarlane (John) of Arlington, TX and her daughter Caitlin Silvia (Jeremy) and great-great nephew Roman Silvia. Special mention goes to Joyce Brock who was like a sister to him.

There will be no memorial held as most of his dearest friends are in Nashville and various other states.
