Rosemary Dawn Anderson

Rosemary Dawn Anderson, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Forest Hill (Fort Worth), Texas.

Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Rosemary was born on February 17, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to Yandall Woodfin and Leta Frances Beene Woodfin. She spent six years in Switzerland as a child, from 1967-1973. She graduated from Southwest High School in 1979. Rosemary worked for Higginbotham Insurance Agency in Systems Training Education and Administration. She was a certified insurance counselor through the National Alliance. Rosemary was very dedicated and put her heart and soul into her work.

She was very active in choirs and ensembles throughout her life and at University Baptist Church, Fort Worth. She played the leading role in her elementary school’s musical, Scrooge. Rosemary liked to decorate her home and was happiest there with her husband, Mark, and her beloved dogs. She enjoyed watching crime shows and Andy Griffith. She loved Michael Jackson. She had a long-haired dachshund named Rusty that she especially cherished.

Rosemary was quiet, kind, and mischievous. She was always very thoughtful of others. Her warmth and humor will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Yandall and Leta Woodfin; and brother, Yandall Woodfin IV.

Survivors: Husband of 27 years, Mark Jordan, who described Rosemary as the love of his life; sisters Carol Woodfin, and Linda Woodfin Wells; nephews Steven Etter and Michael Wells; nieces Nancy Etter and Sylvia Etter; aunt, Diane Woodfin Orr; uncle Donald Orr; and cousin Alicia Chavis.
