Ronnie Ray Stedman, 75, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 in Jacksboro.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 15, at Mayfield Road Baptist Church, 1701 E. Mayfield Road, Arlington with Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating. Interment: 11:30 a.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Ronnie was born on March 3, 1942 in Jacksboro to Charles Benning Stedman and Agnes Matilda Jolly Stedman. He served in the U.S. Army. Ronnie worked as a maintenance supervisor for General Motors and retired after 42 years of service. He loved classic cars, his '65 Impala convertible was his pride and joy. Ronnie was witty and funny, a real character. He loved spending time in the country and camping. He enjoyed life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Stedman, Donald Stedman and Clifton Stedman; and sister, Fodie Mae Cook.
Survivors: Son, Ronnie Stedman, Jr. and wife, Amie; grandchildren, Samuel Adam Stedman and Corinne Elise Stedman; and great-granddaughter, Analise Esperanza Rodriguez.
