Ronnie Lynn Deeds

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronnie Lynn Deeds, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Ronnie passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024 in Arlington, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones.

Ronnie was born on September 5, 1948, in Brady, Texas to John Burl Deeds and Joyce Rae Larremore Deeds. He proudly served in the US Army, Ronnie dedicated 35 years of service to the US Postal Service, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment. He will be remembered for his love of camping, fishing, automobiles, and his passion for sports, particularly his Dallas Cowboys. His fondness for BBQ and ice cream always brought a smile to those around him.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents John and Joyce Deeds as well as his brother, Gary Deeds. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Deeds; son, John Deeds (spouse Stephanie); daughter, Kristy Deeds Reynolds (spouse Jon Reynolds); cherished grandchildren, Lane Deeds, Aubree Deeds, and Waylon Reynolds; and his brother Steve Deeds.

Ronnie will be buried at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. We will gather there at 11:15am on August 30, 2024 to celebrate his life and the lasting impact he had on each of us. A United States Army Honor Guard will render Military Honors.

A man of integrity, Ronnie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts and memories.
